About Us

About AblePath Africa

Who We Are

AblePath Africa is a digital media platform focused on disability news, opportunities, and advocacy across all 54 African countries.

We exist for one reason: information changes lives — and too many Africans living with disabilities are missing access to information that could change theirs.

Across the continent, grants go unclaimed, opportunities are missed, and essential services remain unused — not because they do not exist, but because people never hear about them. AblePath Africa was created to close that gap.

What We Do

AblePath Africa is an independent editorial platform covering key areas that matter to the disability community across Africa:

  • Grants & Funding — Verified funding opportunities for organisations of persons with disabilities (OPDs)
  • Jobs & Opportunities — Employment, internships, and professional roles in the disability and development sector
  • Advocacy & Policy — Coverage of laws, policies, and disability rights developments across Africa
  • Inclusive Education — Resources, programmes, and updates on education for children with disabilities
  • Health & Rehabilitation — Information on healthcare access and rehabilitation services
  • Assistive Technology — Innovations and access to assistive technologies across African contexts
  • Community Spotlight — Stories of individuals and organisations advancing disability inclusion

Our Mission

Our mission is simple:
to make disability-related information accessible, actionable, and available to everyone across Africa — for free.

We believe the information gap is part of the inequality gap. Closing one helps close the other.
